Bina accepted tenancy after successful completion of Third Six pupillage. She has developed a broad practice and now accepts instructions in Crime and Immigration.
Crime
Bina has particular experience in criminal law. Prior to joining Chambers, she worked in a busy solicitors’ firm where she had a key role in the preparation of cases, including many noted for their complexity and seriousness (rape and complex frauds).
Bina both prosecutes and defends in the Magistrates’, Youth and Crown Court covering all aspects of criminal work. She believes the same makes for a more rounded, measured advocate.
She is also frequently instructed in driving matters and has had particular successes in cases of special reasons, exceptional hardship and offences of failing to comply with requests for information.
She is particularly good with vulnerable clients due to her strong client care skills.
Immigration & Asylum
She accepts instructions in matters before the First-tier Tribunal and Upper Tribunal. She has experience handling a range of delicate asylum cases involving unaccompanied minors, human trafficking and religious persecution.
